Vietnam Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society (VIGES) in collaboration with Hung Vuong General Hospital respectfully announces and invites colleagues to attend the Scientific Conference with the topic: “Application of some advances in diagnosis and treatment of early colorectal cancer”.

This workshop aims to update the latest advances in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy and share practical experiences in early detection and treatment of colorectal cancer, one of the most common malignancies in Vietnam today.

Main content of the workshop:

The conference will include in-depth presentations on important topics such as:

  • The role of new endoscopic technologies in early colorectal cancer screening
  • Value of non-invasive testing (FIT-test) in early colorectal cancer screening in the community
  • Gastrointestinal bleeding not due to portal hypertension: Sharing experiences from Hung Vuong General Hospital
  • Colon cleansing techniques improve colonoscopy quality
  • Technical guidance for advanced endoscopic application and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD)

Morning session:

  • 07:45 – 08:15: Welcoming delegates
  • 08:15 – 08:50: Welcome performance, introduction of delegates and opening ceremony
  • 08:50 – 09:20: Signing of cooperation between VIGES and units
  • 09:30 – 10:40: Special reports on new endoscopic technology and screening techniques
  • 10:55 – 12:00: Presentation on colon cleansing techniques and discussion

Afternoon session:

  • 14:00 – 16:30: In-depth technical guidance on interventional endoscopy and ESD
  • 16:30 – 17:00: Discussion and closing
