January 4, 2025: A historic milestone in Vietnamese medicine
On the morning of January 4, 2025, at the large hall of Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi), Congress to establish the Vietnam Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society (VIGES) đã diễn ra thành công tốt đẹp, mở ra một chương mới cho ngành y học tiêu hóa tại Việt Nam. Với sự tham dự của hơn 150 delegates, including doctors, leading medical experts, and representatives from Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Healththe event is not only an important turning point in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy but also affirms the determination to build a strong, connected and sustainably developing medical community.
Highlights at the Congress
Awarding the Decision to establish the Association: Representative of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mr. Pham Cong Hung, read and presented the Decision to establish the Association, officially recognizing the birth of VIGES. This is a testament to the necessity of establishing a leading professional organization in the context of increasing digestive diseases.

Executive Committee Structure for the 2025–2030 Term
At the Congress, VIGES Association announced First term Executive Committee, với 46 members, including 11 standing members, dẫn đầu bởi các thành viên chủ chốt:- Chairperson: Mr. Nguyen Cong Long
- Vice president: Mr. Le Quang Nhan, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam, Mr. Pham Binh Nguyen
- Secretary General: Mr. Le Phu Tai
- Other standing members: Consisting of leading experts in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy, playing an important role in planning the Association's development strategy.
