Bach Mai Hospital, in collaboration with the Nagoya Asia Association for the Advancement of Gastroenterology (NAG), is organizing The 10th Digestive Science Conference (The 10th Digestive Conference Bach Mai Hospital-Nagoya Asia Association for the Advancement of Gastroenterology (NAG)).

This is a prestigious annual scientific forum, gathering leading domestic and international experts to update the latest medical advances in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatobiliary medicine.

2. Conference Highlights

This year's conference is honored to feature lectures and chairing by leading Professors, PhDs, and Doctors in Gastroenterology and Interventional Endoscopy from Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

The conference will focus on advanced interventional endoscopy techniques, especially the role of Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in diagnosis and treatment:

  • Scientific Report Session (Morning):
    • Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD): Japan's pioneering technique for treating pre-cancerous lesions and early gastrointestinal cancer, now mastered by the doctors at the GI-Hepatology Center, Bach Mai Hospital.
    •    Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP): Updated reports on their application in the diagnosis and intervention of biliary-pancreatic diseases from experts from Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand.
  • Live Demonstration Session (Afternoon):
    • Live demonstration of complex ERCP and EUS interventional cases, performed by international and Vietnamese experts right at Bach Mai Hospital.
